BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 528

DECLARING FRIDAY, 10 MAY 2024, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF ROXAS, PROVINCE OF CAPIZ

WHEREAS, the City of Roxas, Province of Capiz will mark the commemoration of the date of the organization of its government or Roxas City Day on 12 May 2024;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Roxas to fully participate in the occasion, the Sangguniang Panlungsod requested that 10 May 2024, Friday, be declared as a special (non-working) day in lieu of 12 May 2024 which falls on a Sunday;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Roxas be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Friday, 10 May 2024, a special (non-working) day in the City of Roxas, Province of Capiz.
