PROCLAMATION NO. 53

CREATING AND DESIGNATING A PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PRIVATE DOMAIN SITUATED ALONG AYALA AVENUE CORNER HERRERA STREET, MAKATI CITY, AS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ZONE PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916, AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8748

Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995, as amended by Republic Act No. 8748, and upon recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, |, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate as an Information Technology Zone, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916, as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and Resolution No. 00-230 dated July 27, 2000, as amended by Resolution No. 01-153 dated May 10, 2001, of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, a parcel of land located along Ayala Avenue corner Herrera Street, Makati City, consisting of TWO THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY SEVEN (2,997) SQUARE METERS, more or less, as defined by the following technical description:

A parcel of land (Lot 19, Blk. 3 of the subdivision plan (LRC) Psd-6132, being a portion of Block C, of plan (LRC) Psd-5812, LRC (GLRO) Rec.
