BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 53

DECLARING MONDAY, 12 SEPTEMBER 2022, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE

WHEREAS, on 11 September 2022, the Province of Ilocos Norte will mark the 105" birth anniversary of President Ferdinand E. Marcos;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the Province of Ilocos Norte to celebrate the occasion, the Office of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan requested that 12 September 2022, Monday, be declared a special (non-working) day in lieu of 11 September 2022, which falls on a Sunday;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Ilocos Norte be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to the public health measures of the national government;

NOW, THEREFORE, |, VICTOR D. RODRIGUEZ, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Monday, 12 September 2022, a special (non-working) day in the Province of Ilocos Norte.
