BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 534

DECLARING THURSDAY, 23 MAY 2024, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF CALACA, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS

WHEREAS, on 23 May 2024, the City of Calaca, Province of Batangas will mark the celebration of the birth anniversary of General Eleuterio Marasigan, a great Calaquefio, patriot, and one of the leaders during the libertarian movement in the Province of Batangas;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Calaca be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Thursday, 23 May 2024, a special (non-working) day in the City of Calaca, Province of Batangas.
