BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 540
DECLARING MONDAY, 18 FEBRUARY 2013, AS A SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BAYAWAN, NEGROS ORIENTAL
WHEREAS, the celebration of the Tawo-Tawo Festival of the City of Bayawan will be held on Monday, 18 February 2013;
WHEREAS, the Tawo-Tawo Festival reflects the culture of the City of
Bayawan being a rice granary of the southern part of the Province of Negros Oriental;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Bayawan be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, |, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR.. Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO IIl, do hereby declare Monday, 18 February 2013, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Bayawan.
