PROCLAMATION NO. 55

DECLARING FRIDAY, 28 OCTOBER 2022, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DINGLE, PROVINCE OF ILOILO

WHEREAS, on 28 October 1898, the local revolutionaries manifested their desire for independence from Spain in barrio Lincud, Iloilo and the act came to be known as the Cry of Lincud;

WHEREAS, on 28 October 2022, Friday, the Municipality of Dingle, Province of lloilo will mark the commemoration of the Cry of Lincud;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Dingle be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to the public health measures of the national government;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, VICTOR D. RODRIGUEZ, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Friday, 28 October 2022, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Dingle, Province of lloilo.
