DECLARING THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2004, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA

WHEREAS, Thursday, February 19, 2004, marks the birth anniversary of the late Jose Abad Santos;

WHEREAS, Jose Abad Santos, former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and a son of San Fernando, Pampanga, had devoted decades of his life to selfless, dedicated and sincere service to our country and our people;

WHEREAS, it is fitting that the people of the City of San Fernando, Pampanga be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO, Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Thursday, February 19, 2004, as special (non-working) day in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
