DECLARING WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 16, 1991, AS SPECIAL DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF NAVOTAS, METROPOLITAN MANILA

WHEREAS, on January 16, 1906, the Municipality of Navotas was created as a separate town;

WHEREAS, it is fitting to set aside Wednesday, January 16, 1991, as a special day in the Municipality of Navotas in order to enable the entire citizenry of the said Municipality to commemorate and celebrate an important page in their town's history;

WHEREAS, the residents of the Municipality of Navotas wish to mark this momentous day with fitting activities;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do . hereby declare Wednesday, January 16 1991, as a special day in the ote Municipality of Navotas, Metropolitan Manila. The day however shall be a -* working day.
