BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 558

DECLARING TUESDAY, 23 APRIL 2013, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PLARIDEL, PROVINCE OF BULACAN

WHEREAS, Tuesday, 23 April 2013, the Municipality of Plaridel, Bulacan marks the commemoration of the “Battle of Quingua”;

WHEREAS, the Battle of Quingua, wherein the Filipino forces were under

the command of General Gregorio del Pilar, was one of the most significant victories of the Filipinos in the war: and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Plaridel, Bulacan be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR.. Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO Iil, do hereby declare

Tuesday, 23 April 2013, as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Plaridel, Bulacan,
