PROCLAMATION NO. 56

AUTHORIZING THE FOUNDATION FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT IN THE PHILIPPINES (FYDP), INC. TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR

WHEREAS, the Foundation for Youth Development in the Philippines (FYDP), Inc. was authorized under Proclamation No. 83 dated February 24, 1999, to conduct a national fund campaign up to February 23, 2000;

WHEREAS, the Foundation needs more time to conduct its fund drive;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Foundation for Youth Development in the Philippines, Inc., to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.
