RESERVING FOR RECREATIONAL SITE FOR THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF ZAMBOANGA CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED AT PETTIT BARRACKS, ZAMBOANGA CITY, ISLAND OF MINDANAO

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale or settlement, and reserve for the use of the City of Zamboanga, as Recreational, Parks and Tourist Site, certain parcel of the public domain located in Pettit Barracks, Zamboanga City, Island of Mindanao, subject to actual survey and delineation on ground and to private rights, if there be any, which parcel of land is more particularly described as follows:

CONSOLIDATION SURVEY OF LOT FLC 09-01-000001, LOT FLC 09-01-000002 and MLA IX-1-9

A PARCEL OF LAND known as Lot No. Lot 1, CCN 09-000071 being a portion of Lot FLC 09-01-000001, FLC 09-01-000002 and MLA Ix-1-9, situated in the Barangay Zone IV, City of Zamboanga, Island of Mindanao. Bounded on the NW., along line 1-2 by existing road; on the NE., along lines 2-3-4 by portion of Lot No. 1277, Cad 14 and along lines 4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11 by existing road and along line 11 -12 by Regional School of Fisheries; on the SE., SW., and N., along lines 12- 13-14-15 by Basilan Strait; on the NW., along lines 15-1 by FLC 09-02- 000093-D Lantaka Hotel by the Sea and MSI V-76090-A Hotel Bayot by the Sea. Beginning at point marked “1” on the plan being S. 34° 02’E., 698.73 meters from monument A, Cad 14. thence:
