• MALACANANG Manila 1-1 hi) /!;.g> By The President Of The Philippines Proclamation No. 562 DECLARING A STATE OF CALAMITY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR IPIL, Upon recommendation of the Secretary of National Defense as Chairman of the National Disaster Coordinating Council and by virtue of the powers 'vested in me by law, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of t,he Philippines, do hereby declare a state of calamity in the Municipality of Ipil, Zamboanga Del Sur, due to the adverse effects of the armed attack of suspected Abu Sayaff members. All departments and other government agencies concerned are hereby directed to implement and execute relief and rehabili.tation work in accordance with existing operational plans and directives and orders issued in connection withcalamities.
