BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. _57

AUTHORIZING THE MAGIC TOUCH AND HEALTH THERAPEUTIC ASSOCIATION INC. TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND RAISING CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR

WHEREAS, the Magic Touch and Health Therapeutic Association Inc. is a non-stock and non-profit organization composed of blind masseurs/masseuses specially trained in the arts of Scientific and Therapeutic massage to avail of this excellent service and natural health in the scientific way;

WHEREAS, the Association desire to launch a skills and livelihood program for the needy persons with disabilities in our country specific- ally its members, and thus make themselves productive members of society;

WHEREAS, to ensure and ascertain the continuous, progressive and consistent funding and financial support for programs and services in promotion of its avowed objectives and mission, the Association shall solicit funds, public contributions and donations, whether in cash or in kind, from individual and corporate donors and contributors nationwide on a year-round basis;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Magic Touch and Health Therapeutic Association Inc. to conduct a national fund raising campaign for a period of one (1) year effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.
