[ Proclamation No. 570, May 17, 1990 ]

DECLARING TUESDAY, JUNE 19, 1990, AS “PROVINCE OF SURIGAO DEL NORTE DAY”

WHEREAS, Tuesday, June 19, 1990, marks the 30th Foundation Anniversary of the Province of Surigao del Norte;

WHEREAS, the residents of the Province of Surigao del Norte desire to celebrate with fitting ceremonies this event in their provinces history;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Tuesday, June 19, 1990, as “Province of Surigao del Norte Day” in Surigao del Norte. The day, however, shall be a regular working and school day.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

DONE in the City of Manila, this 17th day of May, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and ninety.
