MALACANANG MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 576 AUTHORIZING THE NARCOTICS FOUNDATION OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC., TO CONDUCT A NATIONWIDE EDUCATIONAL AND FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR WHEREAS, the Narcotics Foundation of the Philippines,Inc., a private non-stock, non-profit organizationsupplements and supports the program of the government in the prevention and control of drug abuse in the country for the last twenty years. intensify its preventive abuse by implementing youth, their parents, the family, and other WHEREAS, the Foundation will education program against drugprojects. which will involve the barangay leaders, the church, traditional institutions; WHEREAS, the Foundation will set-up Kapitbahay Centers in strategic locations, which will maximize the use of limited human and financial resources for the prevention and control of drug at barangay level; WHEREAS, the Foundation will concerted efforts to prevent AIDS from the country; likewise assist in further spreading in WHEREAS, the Foundation needs the support of the public to realize its laudable objectives. NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of thePhilippines, by virtue of he powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the NMrcotics Foundation of the Philippines, Inc., to conduct a nationwide educational and fund campaign for a period of one year effective upon the promulgation of this proclamation.
