PROCLAMATION NO. 577

DECLARING TUESDAY, JUNE 19, 1990, AS "PROVINCE OF SURIGAO DEL. SUR DAY" IN SURIGAO DEL SUR

WHEREAS, Tuesday, June 19, 1990, marks the 30th Foundation Anniversary of the Province of Surigao de! Sur;

WHEREAS, the residents of the Province of Surigao de! Sur desire to celebrate with fitting ceremonies this event in their province's ~ history; ,

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, ‘by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Tuesday, June 19, 1990, as "Province of Surigao del Sur Day" in Surigao del Sur. The day, however, shall be a regular working and school day.
