PROCLAMATION NO. 577

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, MARCH 31, 2004, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF VALENCIA, NEGROS ORIENTAL

WHEREAS, Wednesday, March 31, 2004, marks the 150‘ Foundation Day anniversary of the Parish of Our Lady of Abandoned, the Patron of the Municipality of Valencia, Negros Oriental;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Valencia be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone event in their municipality’s history with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO, Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, March 31, 2004, as special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Valencia, Negros Oriental.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
