PROCLAMATION NO. 579

DECLARING TUESDAY, JUNE 19, 1990, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF LAGUNA AND IN THE CITY OF SAN PABLO

(129th). birthday of Dr. Jose Rizal, our national hero;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the residents of Laguna, his birthplace, should be given full opportunity to celebrate the day with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW,, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Tuesday, June 19, 1990, a special day in . the province of Laguna and in the City of San Pablo.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
