BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 58

DECLARING TUESDAY, 20 SEPTEMBER 2016, AS A SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DINGRAS, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE

WHEREAS, Josefa Llanes Escoda was a World War II Heroine and the Founder of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines;

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Dingras, tlocos Norte marks ihe birth anniversary of Josefa Llanes Escoda on Tuesday, 20 September 2016;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Dingras, Ilocos Norte be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, |, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Tuesday, 20 September 2016, as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Dingras, Province of Ilocos Norte.
