WHEREAS, Congress was called to a Special Session on May 21-28,1995, under Proclamation No. 577; WHEREAS, May 21, 1995, the first day as well as Jte la.t day of said Special Session fall on a Sunday, which is a non-working day; WHEREAS, it becomes necessary to reset the said Special Session to exclude Sundays; NOW, nlEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in me by the Constitution, ~ FmEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 577 and call the Congress of the Philippines to a Special Session on May 22-27, 1995, to urgently consider and enact the following labor related meures 1is~ed under Proclamation No. 577: 1. "AN ACT AMENDING ARnCLE 282 OF PRESillENnAL DECREE 442, OmERWISE KNOWN AS mE LABOR CODE OF THE PmLWPINES, TO SAFEGUARD AND PROMOTE WORKERS' RIGHI'S TO SECURffY OF TENURE AS 'ElL A GAINFUL AND GUARANTEED EMPLOYMENT"; 2 4. "RESOLUllON CONCURRING IN mE RAm1CAllON OF INTERNAllONAL CONVENllON ON mE PROTECllON OF mE RIGHfS OF ALL MIGRANT WORKERS AND MEMBERS OF mEIR FAMILIES" .AND, 5.
