MALACANANG MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. ~ DECLARING THE EXISTENCE OF A STATE OF CALAMITY MUNICIPALITY OF BUGASONG, ANTIQUE WHICH WAS, AFFECTED BY FIRE IN THEDVERSELY WHEREAS, the Secretary of National Defense and Chairman of the National Disaster Coordinating CoURcil (NDCC) recommends the declaratiun of a state of calamity in the Municipality of Bugasong, Antique, in view of the effects of fire which occurred on March 28, 1995; WHEREAS, there is an urgent need for the declaration of a state.of calamity in the area in order that the province may make use of its calamity fund for the relief and other emergency requirements of the affected constituents; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare that a state of public cala.mity,-exists in the Municipality of Bugasong, Antique. All departments and other government agencies concerned are hereby directed to implement and execute relief and rehabilitation work in accordance with existing operationalplans, directives and orders issued in connection withcalamities.
