DECLARING MARCH 18 AS A SPECIAL NON-WORKING HOLIDAY FOR THE MUNICIPALITY OF LA TRINIDAD, BENGUET

WHEREAS, March 18 is the Strawberry Festival of the Municipality of La Trinidad, Benguet;

WHEREAS, the Strawberry Festival is in itself the Town Fiesta of the Municipality of La Trinidad,;

WHEREAS, the Strawberry Festival is aimed at promoting La Trinidad as the ‘Strawberry Capital of the Philippines,” and it is fitting to give full opportunity for the people of La Trinidad to come together in celebration of this festival;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of

the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare

March 18 as a special non-working holiday for the Municipality of La Trinidad, Benguet.
