AUTHORIZING THE SALVATION ARMY TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR

WHEREAS, the Salvation Army is a duly licensed social welfare agency and has been a partner of the government in social welfare and developing;

WHEREAS, the Salvation Army needs assistance to fund its various community and social programs, projects and services;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Salvation Army to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year, effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, | have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
