DECLARING THE PERICD FROM JULY 2 TO 7 OF EVERY YEAR AS PHILIPPINE BUSINESS WEEK

WHEREAS, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry is recognized as a voice of Philippine Business and representative of the private business sector in its relationship with the Government;

WEEREAS, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry serves as a forum for the development of 4 con- sensus of the business community on. matters of economic and business significance;

WHEREAS, since its organization, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry has advocated greater participation of Filipino businessman in economic develop- ment; ,

WHEREAS, it is necessary to focus. the attention of the nation to the progress that Philippine business has 4 achieved; . ; . ¢ , : NOW, TEEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of these Philippines, by virtue of the powers tested in me by law, do hereby ceclare the period from July 2° tc 7 ©f everv year as Philippine Business Week under the auspices of the Philippine Chamber cf Commerce and Industry.
