DECLARING TURDAY, JUNE 24, 1995, AS A SPECTAT, DAY IN THE CITY GF MANILA

WHEREAS, every year the City of Manila celebrates June 24 as "Araw ng Maynila™ in commemoration of the founding of the City as the premier Christian City of

Asia;

WHEREAS, the residents of Manila, conscious of the srical and eultural significance of the event, desire to celebrate the same with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, : FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Book IT, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administra- tive Code of 1987, do hereby declare Saturday, June 24, 1995, as a special day in the City of Manila.

TN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 23rd day of June, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and ninety five.
