DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM AUGUST 12 TO 18, 1990, AS "MANAGEMENT CONSCIOUSNESS WEEK"

WHEREAS, it is the policy of the Government to promote management .. consciousness in both the public and private sectors to help achieve the development goals of the nation;

WHEREAS, the Philippine Council of Management is sponsoring the 22nd Philippine Management Congress on August 16 to I7, !990, in Manila, on the theme "Managing Oneself For Better Results", which will be attended by management’ experts, .practitioners, educators and students;

WHEREAS, management consciousness is essential to the promotion of better business practices, increased productivity, and improved public administration and services, which are vital prerequisites to economic development and progress;

NOW, THEREFORE, |, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of’ the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, co ‘hereby declare the period from August [2 to 18, 1990, as “Management Consciousness Week" under the auspices of the+ Philippine Council of Management and other concerned organizations.
