THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 620

DECLARING FRIDAY, 30 AUGUST 2024, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF MANDAUE, PROVINCE OF CEBU

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 5519 which was approved on 21 June 1969 created the City of Mandaue;

WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 586, series of 1969 designated 30 August 1969 as the formal organization of the government of the City of Mandaue;

WHEREAS, on 30 August 2024, Friday, the City of Mandaue will mark the celebration of its 55" Charter Anniversary;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Mandaue be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, |, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Friday, 30 August 2024, a special (non-working) day in the City of Mandaue.
