MEAl MALACANANG Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO.621 DECLARING WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 30, 1995, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN SAN JUAN, METRO MAJILA WHEREAS, the 99th anniversary of the "Battle ofPinaglabar.an, an important event in our struggle forfreedom, falls on August 30, 1995; . WHEREAS, said historical event is of special sigificance ,to the residents of San Juan, MetroManila, where it took place; WHEREAS, the people of San Juan should be afforded an oppotunity to celebrate the occasion with fitting ceremonies; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Adm1nistra- tive Code of 1987, do hereby declare Wednesday, August 30, 1995, as a special day in San J11an, MetroManila.
