BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 621

DECLARING FRIDAY, 16 AUGUST 2024, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF DAVAO

WHEREAS, the City of Davao marks its annual celebration of Kadayawan Festival and the Indigenous Peoples Day every third week of August;

WHEREAS, on 16 August 2024, Friday, the City of Davao will be celebrating the 39" Kadayawan Festival and Indigenous Peoples Day;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Davao be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Friday, 16 August 2024, a special (non-working) day in the City of Davao.
