PROCLAMATION NO. 625

CREATING AND DESIGNATING CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND OF THE PRIVATE DOMAIN SITUATED AT BARANGAYS MALOBAGO AND PAGCOLBON, MUNICIPALITY OF RAPU-RAPU, PROVINCE OF ALBAY AS A SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916 AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8748

Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic zone Act of 1995 as amended and upon recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate as a special economic zone, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916, as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and Resolution No. 03-320 dated 11 December 2003 of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, an area located at Barangays Malobago and Pagcolbon, Municipality of Rapu-Rapu, Province of Albay, consisting of FOUR HUNDRED THIRTEEN THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED THIRTY SIX (413,836) SQUARE METERS, as defined by the following technical description:

A PARCEL OF LAND (Swo-05-001945-D of the proposed Rapu-Rapu Economic Zone) situated in Barangays Malobago and Pagcolbon, Municipality of Rapu-Rapu, Province of Albay, Island of Rapu-Rapu. Bounded on the NE., along lines 7-8-9 by Lots 960 (Port.), Lot 961 (Port.) and Lot 962 (Port.), along line 9- 10 by Lot 962 (Port.) and Lot 986 (Port.); on the SE., along line 10-11 by Lot 1005, along line 11-12 by Lot 1001 (Port.); along line 12-13 by Lot 1003; along lines 13-14-15-16 by Lot 1001 (Port.); along line 16-17 by Lot 1001 (Port.) and Lot 999 (Port.); along lines 17-18-19 by Lot 993 (Port.); along line 19-20 by Lot 992 (Port.); along line 20-21 by Lot 957 (Port.), and Lot 958 (Port.), all of Pls- 858-D, Rapu-Rapu Public Land Subdivision; along lines 21-22-23 by Albay Gulf; on the SW., along lines 23-24-25-26-1 by Albay Gulf; on the NW., alone line 1-2 by Albay Gulf; along line 2-3 by Lot 953; along line 3-4 by Lot 954; along line 4-5 by Lot 955 (Port.); along line 5-6 by Lot 945 (Port.); and along line 6-7 by Lot 945 (Port.), Lot 959 (Port.) and Lot 960 (Port.), all of Pls-858-D, Rapu-Rapu Public Land Subdivision.

All corners referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground as follows: corners 2 and 10 by PS cyl. conc. mons. 15 x 60 cm., corner 21 by X on top of rock 4 m. diameter and the rest by PS cyl. conc. mons. 15 x 50 cm. Bearings true; date of original survey July-December 1965 and that of the special work order prepared on January 21-27, 2004 by Geodetic Engineer Emmanuel M. Coloma and was approved on February 2, 2004.
