FURTHER EXTENDING THE NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL AND FUND CAMPAIGN PERIOD OF THE PHILIPPINE TUBERCULOSIS SOCIETY, INC., UP TO DECEMBER 31, 1991 ;

WHEREAS, the. Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc., was last authorized under Proclamation No. 443, dated August 10, 1989, to conduct a national educational and fund campaign up to December 31, 1990;

WHEREAS, it has been found necessary to extend the fund campaign period of the Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc.,in order to maintain its humanitarian services to victims of tuberculosis and to protect the community from the White Plague;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby extend the national educational and fund campaign period of the Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc., up to December 31, 1991.

For this purpose, all donations, bequests, gifts + received by the Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc., for the implementation of its programs and activities shall be free from all forms of taxes and shall be deductible in full from the income of the donor for purposes of computing his income tax liability, subject to the pertinent provisions of the National Internal Revenue Code, as amended.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
