PROCLAMATION NO. 627

DECLARING FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 1990, AS “SENATOR CIPRIANO P. PRIMICIAS DAY" IN ALCALA, PANGASINAN.

WHEREAS, Friday, September 14, 1990, marks the birthday of the late Senator Cipriano P. Primicias, Sr., the most illustrious and favorite son of the Muni- cipality of Alcala, Pangasinan;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of Alcala, Pangasinan, his birthplace, be given full opportunity to celebrate the day with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Friday, September 14, 1990, as "“SeMator Cipriano P. Primicias Day” in Alcala, Pangasinan. The day, however, shall be a regular work- ing and school day.
