PROCLAMATION NO. 627

AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 518, SERIES OF 1990 BY EXCLUDING CERTAIN PORTION OF THE LAND EMBRACED THEREIN SITUATED IN BARANGAY COMEMBO, MAKATI CITY AND RESERVING THE SAME FOR AFP OFF-BASE HOUSING PURPOSES

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources, and by virtue of the powers vested in me by the law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL ARROYO, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 518, S. of 1990, by excluding from the operation thereof, certain portion of the land embraced therein located in Barangay Comembo, Municipality of Makati, and declaring the same as site for the OFF-BASE HOUSING of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, to be disposed and administered by the National Housing Authority in coordination with the

Armed Forces of the Philippines, which parcel of land is more particularly described as follows;

“A PARCEL OF LAND (as shown on plan, Swo-00-001300 as surveyed for Bases Conversion Development Authority), situated in the Barangay of Comembo, Municipality of Makati, Province of Metro Manila, Island of Luzon. Bounded on the SE. and SW., along lines 1 to11, by Sampaguita St., Lots 22038, 22037, 22036, 22035, 37151, existing Road Lot; on the SW., along line 11 to 12 by Existing Road Lot; on the NW, along lines 12 to 27, by Lot 37165, 37168, 37172, 37173, alley, 37178, 37183, 37182, 37181, Existing Road lot, 37184, 37185 and Existing Road lot; and on the NE., along lines 28 to 40 by Lots 30400, 37186, Existing Road lot, 30410, 30411, Existing Road lot, 30412, along lines 40 to 47 to 1, by 30412, Existing Road lot, all of MCad. 571-D, Makati Cadastral Mapping, Case 4”.

The area herein declared for disposition is subject to final survey and shall be administered and disposed of by the National Housing Authority under the provisions of UDHA Law or R.A. 7279, particularly Sections 8 and 12 thereof, in coordination with AFP/DND.

The portion or portions of the area herein declared open for disposition that are being used or earmarked for public or quasi-public purposes shall be excluded from such disposition.
