PROCLAMATION NO. 628

DECLARING MONDAY, MAY 10, 2004, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC (NON- WORKING) HOLIDAY THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY

WHEREAS, the national and local elections shall be held on Monday, May 10, 2004;

WHEREAS, Monday, May 10, 2004, should be declared a special public (non-working) holiday to give the people the fullest opportunity to participate in the said elections.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO 6& ROMULO, Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Monday, May 10, 2004, as a special public “:0n-working) holiday throughout the country.
