PROCLAMATION NO. 629

DECLARING FRIDAY, AUGUST 31, 1990, AS "PROVINCE OF BUKIDNON DAY" IN THE PROVINCE OF BUKIDNON :

WHEREAS, the foundation anniversary of the Province . of Bukidnon falls on September 1;

WHEREAS, the residents of the Province of Bukidnon desire to celebrate the foundation anniversary of their province on August 31, 1990, to coincide with the Kaamulan Festival;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Friday, August 31, 1990, as "Province of Bukidnon Day" in the province of Bukidnon. The Day, ‘ however, shall be a regular working and school day.
