MALACANA"NG MANILA' BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO.6 3 2 DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM AUGUST 27 TO 31, 1995 AS "DIRECT SELLIN G WEEK" WHEREAS. it is one of the avowed policies Qf the govemment to promote economic growth by encouraging expanded trade; WHEREAS. there is a need to focus public attention on the contribution of direct selling industry in fostering economic growth: WHEREAS. there is a need to focus national attention on the important role production executives play in the development of our economy: NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from August 27 to 31, 1995 as "Direct Selling Week" in the Philippines.
