MF1.l/'l MALACANAN MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 633 DECLARING WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 30, 1995, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN MANDAUE CITY IN COMMEMORATION OF ITS 26TH CHARTER DAY ANNIVERSARY WHEREAS, Wednesday, August 30, 1995, marks the 26th Anniversary of the signing of Republic Act No. 5519 officially converting the status of the Municipality of Mandaue into that of the Chartered City of Mandaue: WHEREAS, it is fitting that the residents of Mandaue City be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies to remind them of the importance and significance of this date: NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Wednesday, August 30, 1995 as a special day in Mandaue City.
