PALAWAN WInCH WERE ADVERSELY AFFECTED BY MERCURY POISONING WHEREAS, twenty six (26%) percent of the population of thebarangays of Tagburos, San Jose and Sta. Lourdes in Puerto Princesa, Palawan were affected by mercury poisoning; WHEREAS. there is an urgent calamity in barangays Tagburos. San effects of mercury poisoning. and in 0 of its calamity fund for the relief and affected constituents; NOW. THEREFORE. I. FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare that a state of public calamity exists in the barangays of Tagburos, San Jose and Sta. Lourdes in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
