PROGLAMATION NO. 639

FURTHER EXTENDING THE NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL, MEMBERSHIP AND FUND CAMPAIGN PERIOD OF THE PHILIPPINE CANCER SOCIETY, INC., UP TO SEPTEMBER 4, 1991.

WHEREAS, under Proclamation No. 505, series of 1989, the Philippine Cancer Society, Inc., was last authorized to conduct a national educational, membership and fund campaign during the{y period from September 4, 1989 to September 4, 1990; and * ;

WHEREAS, the Philippine Cancer Society, Ine., needs additional time to enable it to raise more funds to attain its laudable goal;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, ‘by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby extend ,jthe national educational, membership and fund campaign of the Philippine Cancer Society, Ine., up to September 4, 1991. :

All donations, bequests, gifts received by the , Philip- pine Cancer Society, Inc. for the implementation of its pro- ° grams and activities shall be free from all form of taxes and shall be deductible in full from the income of the doner for purposes of computing his income tax liability, subject to the pertinent provisions of Section 94(a) (3) and (b).(2) and 29(h) (2) (C) (i) of the National Internal Revenue Code, as amended.
