MALACANA~ MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 641 MUNI CIP ALITY OF DECLARING A STATE OF CALAMITY IN THE LEBAK, SULTAN KUDARAT WHEREAS. the Lebak Public Market in the Municipality of Lebak. Sultan Kudarat was razed to the ground in a fire 'last 17 August 1995 severely affecting the economy of the municipality and the majority of the population who depend on the Raid market for their livelihood: WHEREAS, there is an urgent need for the declaration of a state of calamity in the Municipality of Lebak, Sultan Kudarat in view of the effects of the fire, and in order that the province may make use of its calamity fund for the relief and other emergency requirements of the affected constituents; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare that a state of public calamity exists in the Municipality of Lebak, Sultan Kudarat. All departments and other government agencies concerned are hereby directed to implement and execute relief and rehabilitation work in accordance with existing operations plans. directives and orders issued in connection with calamities.
