PROCLAMATION NO. 642

EXCLUDING FROM. THE OPERATION OF PROCLAMATION NO. 163, DATED FEBRUARY 13, 1967, WHICH ESTABLISHED THE KASIBU FOREST RESERVE, SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF KASIBU, PRO- VINCE:, OF ‘NUEVA VIZCAYA, A PARCEL OF LAND EMBRACED THERBIN, AND RESERVING THE SAME FOR SCHOOL SITE PUR- POSES OF THE KASIBU NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL ~~

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and pursuant to Section 18 of Presidential Decree No. 705, otherwise known as the Revised Forestry Code of the Philippines, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines; do hereby exclude from the operation of Proclamation No. 163, dated February 13, 1967, which estab- lished the Kasibu Forest Reserve situated in the Municipal- ity of Kasibu, Province of Nueva Vizcaya, a parcel of land embraced therein, and reserving the same for school site purposes of the Kasibu National Agricultural School, subject to private rights, if any there be, as shown in C.R. Map No. 381, which is more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at a point designated as corner “1" which + is identical to corner 114, Timberland, Project No. 11-B of Kasibu, Nueva Vizcaya;

beginning, containing an area of- NINETY FIVE (95.0) HECTARES, more or less.

1. The -administration and management of the area covered by the reservation shall be under the Department of Education, © Culture and Sports. For this purpose, a five- year development plan shall be submitted to the Office of the President of the Philippines by the Principal of the said school within one (1) year from the approval hereof, furnishing the Department of Environment and Natural Re- sources and the Forest Management Bureau copies thereof.

2. The timber and other. forest products remaining in the area shall be conserved and protected and their extraction and utilisation if ever allowed shall be subject to Forest and Internal Revenue Laws and Regulations.

3. In the event that the area is no longer needed for the purpose stated, or its development has already been abandoned for a period of two (2) years, this proclamation is automatically withdrawn, revoked or cancelled and the subject area regains its original status as part and parcel

of the forest land.

a7 4. The subject area which is within the Kasibu Forest

Reserve established under Proclamation No. 163, dated February 13, 1967, is hereby excluded from the operation of

said proclamation.
