DECLARING MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 1990, AS "PROVINCE OF SIQUIJQR DAY" IN SIQUIJOR

WHEREAS, Monday, September 17, 1990, will be the 19th anniversary: of Siquijor as a Province;

WHEREAS, the residents of Siquijor desire to commemorate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, . THEREFORE, !, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Monday, September 17, 1990, as "Province of Siquijor Day" in Siquijor.. :fhe day, however, shall be a regular. working and school day. ~.
