MALACANANq MANILA MF AJ IqO?; BY mE PREsmENT OF THE PH" .IPPINES PROCLAMA nON NO. 650 DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM "CONSTRUcnON WEEK" MARCH 24 TO 30, 1996, WHEREAS, on March 26-29, 1996, the WORLDBEX '% (The First Philippine World Building & Construction Exposition) is going to be.. held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), to be attended by the construction trade professionals, architects, engineers, property owners, designers, developers, distributors, and direct corporate users; WHEREAS, construction is essential to the country since requirements are expected to leap beyond our wildest expectations as our booming economy takes flight to Philippines 2000; WHEREAS, there is a need to promote construction in both the public and private sectors to help achieve the development goals of the nation; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FmEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from March 24 to 30, 1996, as "Construction Week". ,11) All construction trade professionals, architects, engineers, developers, designers are enjoined to give the observance of the week their full support.
