DECLARING FRIDAY, OCTOBER 12, 1990, AS A SPECIAL HOLIDAY IN ZAMBOANGA CITY

WHEREAS, the celebration of the traditional Feast of Nuestra Senora del Pila®, the Patroness of Zamboanga City, iA falls on Friday, October 12, 1990; ad

WHEREAS, both Christians and Muslims alike in Zamboanga City celebrate this feast with fitting religious and non- religious activities;

WHEREAS, in order to give opportunity to the people thereat to celebrate properly the Feast of Nuestra Senora del Pilar, it is but proper that the same be declared as a special day in said city;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Friday, October 12, 1990, as a special day y win Zamboanga City. ,
