BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. (544

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, JUNE 30, 2004, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF CEBU

WHEREAS, the oath-taking of the President will take place in the City of Cebu on June 30, 2004; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of the City of Cebu be given full opportunity to participate in this momentous and historic occasion.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO, Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, June 30, 2004, as special (non-working) day in the City of Cebu.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
