BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO, 654

AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 776 (S. 1991) BY DECLARING EVERY FRIDAY IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE FEAST OF OUR LADY OF PENAFRANCIA AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE CITY OF NAGA

WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 776-(S. 1991) declares every Friday immediately preceding the third Sunday of the month of September of every year

as special day in the City of Naga, in commemoration of the Feast of Our Lady of Pefiafrancia;

WHEREAS, the date of the Penafrancia Festival was moved to the

Sunday following the octave of the Feast of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary; and, oo

_WHEREAS, the Office of the Mayor requested that every Friday immediately preceding the Pefhafrancia Festival be declared as a special day in the City of Naga, to strengthen the cultural and religious values of Naguefos.

NOW, THEREFORE, |,.BENIGNO S. AQUINO Ill, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby amend Proclamation 776 (s. 1991) by declaring every Friday immediately preceding the feast of Our Lady of Pefafrancia as a Special day in the City of Naga.
