DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM JANUARY 21 TO 27, 1991 AS THE NATIGNAL SOY SCOUT JAMBOREE WEEK

WHEREAS, in pursuit of character building and citizenshipetraining of boys, of prometing world brotherhood among them and of contributing to the task of natican- building, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines will host the 12th Asia-Pacific Jamboree and hold its 3th National Jamboree at Mt. Makiling, Los Banos, Laguna from January 21 to 27, 1351;

WHEREAS, this endeavour merits the full support and cooperation af all sectors of the community in general, and the Government in particular in consonance with its youth development program;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C, AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period January 21 to 27, 1990 as the NATIONAL BOY SCOUT JAMBOREE WEEK,

All heads of departments, offices, agencies, local ad government units, and instrumentalities of the government are hereby directed to extend full support and cooperation and contribute their resources to the Boy Scouts of the Philippines in the celebration of this Week, in the hasting of the l2th Asia-Pacific Jamboree and in the holding the 9th National Jamboree, All non-governmental organizations and the private sector are likewise enjoined to lend their utmost support and cooperation in these activities,
