MALACANAN6 Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 66 "CHILD DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM OCTOBER 5 TO 11, 1992, DEVELOPMENT WEEK" AS WHEREAS, there is an urgent call for the nation to give priority to the caring and rearing of children who will be proud to be called Filipinos; WHEREAS, there is also an urgent need to raise the con- sciousness of children about the situation of the country and what they can do to minimize and prevent these socialproblems; and WHEREAS, there is a need for the community to join hands in giving the essential support to the family and child-caring and child development institution;' NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of thePhilippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from October 5 to 11, 1992, as "CHILD DEVELOPMENT WEEK".
