PROCLAMATION NO. 66

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, JULY 4, 2001, AS PHILIPPINE RETIREMENT AUTHORITY (PRA) DAY

WHEREAS, the Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA) celebrates on Wednesday, July 4, 2001, its 16" year of leadership in servicing the needs of the Philip- pine retirement industry and in promoting its growth;

WHEREAS, PRA consistently pursues this leadership through effective partner- ship, teamwork and collaboration with government agencies and non-government organizations; and

WHEREAS, as a result of this lead role and cooperation with the government and the private sector, PRA facilitates the inflow of foreign investment to the country which contributes to economic and social reform that are the targets of the national administration.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, -President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Wednesday, July 4, 2001, as “Philippine Retirement Authority Day”.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
