PROCLAMATION NO. 661

DECLARING THE PERIOD NOVEMBER 11 TO 7, 1990, AS "DEAF, AWARENESS WEEK"

1, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, in order to awaken the sympathy and understanding of the general public on the welfare of the deaf to enable them to find their rightful place in society, do hereby declare the period from November 11 t9 17, 1990, as “Deaf Awareness Week" under the auspices of the Catholic Deaf Care and other involved organizations.
